About Silver Light
Silver Light: Fantasies on Poems by Sara Teasdale has been years in the making.
In 2021, the first piece "Refuge" was featured during ICOT's call for scores and performed by 3 pianists. It was also featured on Edward's debut EP "Refuge" in 2021.
The following three parts were commissioned by pianist Michelle Lynne and premiered by her in the Netherlands in 2022.
The work has since been performed across Canada and around the world, with the poems by Sara Teasdale being recited by pianists during performance.
These poems and pieces speak of struggle, love, loss, death, existence, and the natural world around us.
